You will need

• A pine cone
• Lard or vegetable suet
• Birdseed
• A piece of string

How to make it

1. Tie the string around the top of the pine cone.
2. Squish lard into all the gaps.
3. Roll it in birdseed until it is covered.
4. Hang it outside where you can see it from a window.

How to make it

1. Ask a grown-up to cut out the middle of the plate.
2. Stick plastic across the hole, sticky side up.
3. Press on your petals and leaves.

How to make it

1. Draw a face on your eggshell.
2. Fill it with damp cotton wool.
3. Sprinkle cress seeds on top.
4. Keep it on a sunny windowsill and add a little water each day.

1. Lay the pot on its side.
2. Pack it tightly with sticks, cones and leaves.
